Steps to Completing Your CCP Requirements |
|
|
|
Complete the CCP Learning Module and Quiz (if not previously completed). This is a one-time mandatory exercise for all existing regulated members and for all new registrants for licensure. The CCP Learning Module and Quiz is available under the main menu "CCP Learning Module Quiz".
Each Year:
1. Review the Competency Profile. (COMPETENCY PROFILE on Main Menu)
2. Complete the Competency Self-Assessment. (COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT on Main Menu)
3. Complete and submit a Proposed Learning Plan by the renewal deadline. (LEARNING PLANS / RECORDS on Main Menu)
4. Undertake appropriate Learning Activities to complete your proposed Learning Objectives. You will be required to declare on your renewal form that you have completed your Learning Plan for the registration year that just ended.
5. Document and retain evidence of your completed Learning Activities. You will be asked to send in verification of learning documents and Completed Learning Plans at least once every 5 years. CADA will want to see evidence of completion of 2 Learning Objective EACH year.
NOTE: Failure to complete 2 Learning Objectives per year is considered to be unprofessional conduct and could result in discipline procedures and loss of Practice Permit. Without your Practice Permit, you would not be able to work in Alberta.
